Grace, 6 and Amelia, (Mimi) 4 share this bedroom in a beautiful old semi detached farmhouse in the South East of England. They are farmer’s daughters and have the idyllic setting of a house surrounded by animals and fields and their cousins live next door.

We both go dancing and horseriding but my favourite is ballet. I’ve just taken my Primary exam.The best day of the week is Saturday as we go ballet and horse riding!

I love my pink guitar too though i can’t play it properly very well yet.

We go to bed about 7.30pm at the same time , no fighting! We have a night light so we can still see so it still feels cosy.

I think our bunkbeds have to be my favourite thing in here. I like to lay on my bed and read a lot.

Mimi: My favourite thing to do in here is play on the rocking horses. We love our friends to come and play here.

Grace’s favourite colour is pink and mine is purple!

Grace: My cousin Jack drew this giraffe for me.

The dolls house is really old. My Great Uncle found it and had it fixed up. He buys us new furniture every year for Christmas and birthdays.

I like to arrange all the furniture myself. It annoys me when Mimi plays and moves the furniture around. The best thing about sharing is it’s fun though Mimi always wants what I am playing with.

Grace: I love to read. My favourite are the Rainbow Magic Fairies set. I have the whole collection. We just went on holiday and I took 5 of them with me. Mimi: My favourite book is Noah’s ark.

We both love listening to music. We like Olly Murs and Jessie J and we love watching Mary Poppins too. We don’t have a TV in our room but we watch it downstairs.

One thing I’d like for my room is a desk so I could do my work and look out the window at the same time. Mummy is restoring a desk for me at the moment and painting it white, so I can sit and do my homework and look out of the window!
